[Phoenix] – Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business has selected Western Window Systems and president and COO Scott Gates for its first-ever Sun Devil Select event, a celebration that honors top businesses owned or run by ASU alumni.
The door and window manufacturer is among 17 firms from across the country that will be recognized at an invitation-only luncheon on March 20 at ASU’s campus in Tempe, Arizona.
“We’re honoring organizations that demonstrate innovation, growth, and entrepreneurial spirit,” says Sidnee Peck, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the W. P. Carey School of Business. “The inaugural Sun Devil Select class includes firms from Chicago, the Los Angeles area, Kansas City, Dallas, and the Phoenix area.”
Gates, who joined Western Window Systems in 2011, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and will graduate with an MBA from Arizona State University in May 2015. To see the complete list of winning firms and alumni, visit: asunews.asu.edu/20150313-business-entrepreneur-sun-devil-select.
