Stephen Molinar

In the area of continuous improvement, janitor Stephen Molinar is the first to ask, “Can I do more? How can I improve?” and “Is there anything you need?”

A true success story in the making, Molinar started as a contractor with Western Window Systems. He adjusted his commute – as well as the hours of a second job – to give the new role a try. After just a few months, Molinar was offered a full-time position at the company in November.

“He takes a difficult job that many of us would never do and treats it as his profession,” says Western Window Systems director of human resources Rob Robichaud. “He’s creative in how he plans his day, attacks the work, and keeps us in stock with his tools of the trade.”

Respectful of others, Molinar always has a kind word for everyone he meets. And by his own admission, he hates sitting still, preferring to chat up coworkers while straightening chairs in the training room or going about his other duties than sitting down for a quick break.

“The area under his supervision has never been better,” says Robichaud. “Stephen is effective at tackling the dirtiest of jobs.”

Congratulations to Stephen Molinar, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for November.
