2015 NAHB International Builders’ Show: Here’s What Happened
Feb 23, 2015

According to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB),attendance for January’s NAHB 2015 International Builders’ Show (IBS), the three-day show and conference held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, was 55,237 -- eight percent bigger than the previous year.

“This has been the best show we have experienced since the economic downturn,” Jerry Konter, chair of the NAHB convention and meetings committee, says in an article on NAHB.org. “You felt a great energy the moment you hit the show floor, as builders and exhibitors continue to benefit from the recovering economy.”

Western Window Systems highlighted several of our thermally broken aluminum products, including the Series 9500 Bi-Fold Door and Series 600 Multi-Slide Door, at the two-story modern modular home located at Professional Builder’s Show Village, the outdoor space in the convention center’s parking lot. A second modular residence, at Show Village’s “Ultimate Kitchen,” showcased the Series 3600, our new vinyl multi-slide door for production builders.

“There’s a huge difference between seeing our products in a real-life environment versus an exhibit booth,” says Andrew Darr, vice president of custom sales for Western Window Systems. “At Show Village, attendees can operate the doors, see how they look in a home, and if they want to talk to someone, we’re on hand to answer any questions.”
